Michael Vazquez

Instructor

Cello

Michael’s story is simply amazing. Homeless at the age of 15, a local nonprofit in Tucson helped him find stable housing. He took up cello in the 6th grade and no matter how bleak the circumstance, he continued to practice and perform with school orchestras. He earned a two-year scholarship to Pima Community College which led to his scholarship currently at ASU. He is proud to serve in the ROTC and very happy to be a part of the Kirk’s Studio family.
