Since 2011 James has been performing as a soloist and with multiple artists in LA. He received his Bachelor’s in Music in Jazz Studies (Guitar) and has studied with some of the best in the business. In addition to being a killer musician, James loves to work with students of all ages and ability levels. He received his teaching credential from Cal State Northridge in 2017. In addition to performing and teaching, James is also a sought after for his work as a copyist and transcriber. He is also proficient with Sibelius and arrangements. What does this mean? It means he can help students write their own songs and then actually transcribe or put the music to paper - either actual paper and pen or using notational software on the computer. Super cool.
