Ben Garza hails from Covina, CA and has been rocking the mic since age 16. Singing and performing in local bands, Ben was inspired to attend Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. There, he studied to expand his skillset in stage performance, vocal technique, studio performance, rock, blues, pop, extreme and background vocals, eventually graduating with the award for Most Improved in the Vocal Program for the class of 2011.

Fueled by his passion for the stage and refined by his education, Ben joined The Winehouse Experience, a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse in late 2014. He has been performing background vocals for TWE since and has contributed to the band’s growth from one venue to national and international acclaim.

Ben now brings his talents to the Salt River Valley to share his passion for performance and encourage the next generation of musicians!

He specializes in teaching beginner and intermediate students for piano, voice and songwriting lessons. Ben has been making little rock stars out of students since 2019 at Kirk’s Studio and has been a favorite from day one. You’d be hard pressed to find a better piano and voice teacher in Scottsdale and Phoenix than Ben.
