Stacie Anfinson

Stacie Anfinson

Instructor

Piano, Voice, Guitar, Oboe

Stacie’s list of accomplishments and accolades is lengthy to say the least, but for the sake of brevity, we’ll present the tip of the iceberg. After graduating as Valedictorian of her class, she went on to obtain Bachelor’s degrees in Speech, Communication, Theater Arts, English and Philosophy (Concordia College). As if five Bachelor’s degrees weren’t enough, she followed that up with a Master’s in Philosophy (U. of Madison) and a M.F.A. in Creative Writing (ASU).
Stacie has had an eclectic career since winning Miss North Dakota (1981). She has worked in TV and radio, teaching at every level, K-University, and continues working as Musical Director for Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Phoenix. Stacie is also actively involved with the Miss America Pageant (platform speaker, guest musician and judge). For her music volunteerism she was selected as a Scottsdale Community Hero in 2005.

Stacie teaches voice, piano, guitar and oboe. Kirk is envious of the fact that she has performed with Jerry Lee Lewis. We’re thrilled to have another superstar in our midst when Stacie joined up with Kirk’s Studio in 2016.

Fun Facts About Stacie:

through music how much fun it is to clean up.
